A story of love and resistance set in Lebanon. Told from the perspective of a female narrator, Common Sins moves between southern Lebanon, Beirut and London and gives a perceptive view of the resistance in southern Lebanon.

About the author
Fatin al-Murr is a Lebanese writer born in 1969. She has a PhD in French Language and Literature and currently teaches at the Lebanese University. She has published several critical studies in French in Lebanese and international literary magazines. Among her published works are Between Two Periods of Waiting (short stories) and The Time After (a novel).
