Mona al-Shammari

Mona Al-Shamari is a Kuwaiti novelist, short story writer and screenwriter, born in 1966. She studied Theatre and Drama at Kuwait University and has won several prizes, including the State Incentive Prize for the Short Story (2017), the National Council for Culture and Literature Award (2017) and the State Incentive Prize for the Novel (2018).
