Ahmed Zein

Ahmed Zein is a Yemeni novelist and journalist, born in Al-Hudaydah, Yemen, in 1966. He lives in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he works as a cultural journalist. He has published two short story collections and four novels: Correction (2004), American Coffee (2007), War Under the Skin (2010) and Steamer Point (2015). Two of his novels have been reprinted for the Arabic Literature series published by the General Egyptian Book Organisation. Extracts from his novels and some of his short stories have been translated into English, French and Russian.
