Hamed al-Nazir

Hamed al-Nazir is a journalist and novelist, born in Sudan in 1975. He currently works in the newsroom of Qatar Television and writes for several newspapers and websites. Previously, he has presented on the Sudanese Shorouk channel, the Sudanese Blue Nile channel, Sudan radio, and MBC in Sudan. He has four published novels: Farij al-Murar (2014), which won the Sharjah Award for Arab Creativity and the Qatar Vodafone Prize for the Novel in 2014; The Prophecy of Saqqa (2015), IPAF-longlisted in 2016; The Black Peacock (2017), IPAF-longlisted in 2018; and Two Green Eyes (2020).
