Nasser Al-Dhaheri was born in al-Ain in the United Arab Emirates and has a degree in Journalism and French Literature from the UAE University. He continued his studies at the Sorbonne. He has been editor of al-Ittihad newspaper. He used to write a travel column and has published nine volumes of short stories and articles. Some of his stories have been translated into English, French and Russian.
