Lana Abdel-Rahman is from Lebanon and now lives in Cairo with her Egyptian husband and two year old son. Her first degree was in Literature in Lebanon. She is currently working on a PhD on Lebanese women's autobiographies. She also works as a journalist. She has published two volumes of short stories and two novels, the last Talamus, about intercultural relations. Kana is currently working on a novel, Song of Marguerite, inspired by the life and loves of Marguerite Duras.
